Chinese and Western Medicine Treatment of Refractory Nephrotic Syndrome with Clinical Observation

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of the integrative treatment of refractory nephrotic syndrome.Methods:54 patients diagnosed with refractory nephrotic syndrome were randomly divided into two groups,28 patients in the treatment group were given Chinese medicine according to syndrome differentiation based on hormone or cyclophosphamide treatment;26 cases in control group were only given hormones or cyclophosphamide conventional treatment.The clinical efficacy,renal function,blood lipids and inflammatory factors,and other indicators of changes were observed after 2 months.Results:The total efficiency in treatment group was 89.3%,in the control group was 65.4%,the two groups had significant difference(P0.05);24h urinary protein excretion,proteinuria,serum creatinine and serum albumin levels before and after treatment in two groups had significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion:The diagnosis and treatment of Chinese medicine with Western medicine treatment has better effect on treating refractory nephrotic syndrome edema than single Western medicine treatment.
