Abstract

The effect of anaerobic biological treatment on decoloration of dye wastewater was studied under the simulated experiment conditions. The result indicated that the decolorization and COD-degradation rate of soluble reactive dyes reached 90% and 70% respectively when decoloration time was just 22 hours and the sludge loading was 2~4 gVSS/L.There was no restraint when the dye concentration was under 200mg/L;during the processing the structure of dye had been changed.
