Abstract
To evaluate the method ot time-resolved fluoroimmunoassay (TRFIA) for serum AFP, comparison of TRFIA with ELISA and RIA was carried out for the assay of AFP in the aspects of linear range, sensitivity, precision and recovery rate. The results showed that the linear range of AFP was 1-1000 U/mL, lower limit≤0. 1 U/mL,the CV within and between the assays was 2.3% and 5. 3%, respectively. The recovery rate was 97. 85%, being in high agreement with ELISA and RIA (the value of r was 0. 982 and 0. 991, respectively). The reference value of normal serum AFP was 0. 8 -10. 5 U/mL. Therefore, the sensitivity of TRFIA for serum AFP is high and covers a wide linear range. It is also highly accurate and is not related with radiolabeled or hazardous chemicals. TRFIA appears to be a useful biochemical ultrami-croanalysis technique worthy of further development.
