Abstract
The pharmacological aion , pharmacokinetic and clinical evaluation of parecoxib, a cyclooxygenase-2 specific inhibitor is reviewed in this paper. Parecoxib is in clinical trials for the treatment of acute pain, including moderate to severe postsurgical pain with fewer gastroiontestinal ulcers.
