The Application of the Inquiry Learning Theory in Teaching of Basic English

The inquiry learning is a reform of the traditional learning method.It means that students make scientific inquiry to require and apply knowledge and resolve problems under the guide of teachers.The article analyzes four prototypical features of the inquiry learning and then bring forward four important aspects that are needed noticing when the inquiry learning theory applied in teaching Basic English.
