Abstract
Without phrase transfer catalyst, Cyclohexanone was prepared from cyclohexanol and hydrogen peroxide. The effect on reaction of factors including the amount of oxidant and catalyst, reaction time and temperature were accounted and the optimum conditions were found. Compared with that of teaching material in organic chemistry, which is pollutant and poisonous, the new way is more feasible and less poison and suitable for teaching experiment. Because the catalyst used in the reaction, FeCl_3, is handy, dissolvable, and recyclable as well.
