Abstract
Euphemism is a special linguistic phenomenon,which can be expressed with words and phrases,one sentence or one paragraph.Its employment has great relation to the people’s psychology of beautification,avoiding the taboo,avoiding customs and seeking elegance,etc.By analyzing the sources of euphemism and the psychology English euphemism has reflected,we can better understand western languages.
