On the Artistic Quality Orientation of Contemporary Chinese Poetry

Because of the neglecting to derive nutrient from traditional Chinese Poetry, some modern Chinese modem poems tend to imitate the western poetry and are short of the peculiarity that Chinese poetry ought to have. In this paper, we should pay much more attention to distinguishing the feature of our national language, artistic conception and thinking mode in composing contemporary Chinese poetry.
