Abstract

A new styrene/acrylic emulsion based on the monomers of styrene, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate and acrylic acid has been prepared by the emulsion polymerization. This article has discussed the influence of ratio of monomers, emulsifier mixing ratio and initiators on the polymerization reaction and the film properties.
