On Deng Xiaoping's Thought of Value Subject and Value Evaluation

Deng Xiaoping s thought of value has a rich content and is an integrated theoretical system. His idea on value is the one that takes people as the subject of value and as the subject of evaluation. It is decided by the Party' s nature, its fundamental purpose and the people' s function in history to take people as the subject of value, which requires taking people as the subject of evaluation and people's interests as the criterion of evaluation. Thus the Three Benefits criterion of value is a scientific one because it takes people as the subject of value and the subject of evaluation , and it takes the fundamental interests of the majority of people as the criterion of evaluation.
