Abstract
[Objective]To analyze the factors influencing the blood lead levels of workers with occupational lead exposure in a smelting plant.[Methods]The blood specimens of objects were collected and determined for blood lead levels by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry. The results were analyzed by SPSS 16.0.[Results]The blood lead levels of workers with lead exposure were significantly higher than that of workers without lead exposure. The differences of blood lead levels were significant between lead exposed workers with different age, sex, length of service, workshop and working position.[Conclusion]The blood lead levels of lead exposed workers from this smelting plant are significantly high.Their age, sex, length of service, workshop and working position are the factors influencing the blood lead levels.
