Abstract

[Objective]To understand the in vivo lead levels of workers with lead exposure.[Methods]Graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrophotometer and blood analyzer XS-1000i were used for determination of blood lead level and hemoglobin level respectively.[Results]Of 293 workers, the blood lead level of 192 workers(65.5%) was over 1.9 μmol/L.The results showed negative correlations between blood lead level and hemoglobin level on male and female workers.[Conclusion]The blood lead level is relatively high in 293 lead-exposed workers. The enterprises should improve manufacturing technique, enhance protective measures, eliminate lead in workers with high lead level and perform health examination on workers regularly.
