The criticism of liberal democracy from Benjamin·barber

Abstract
Barber defines liberal democracy as thin democracy.He thinks that the thin democracy has a serious of shortcomings in philosophy and politicals.Barber puts forward a contemporary theory of participant democracy which was called strong democracy,to make up for two defects of the thin democracy.At the end,it will lead the liberal democracy to the political community of citizen participation.
