The effect of Shugan jieyu capsule on functional dyspepsia

Objective To observe the totle effect of Shugan jieyu capsule on functional dyspepsia.Methods A total of 80 patients in general hospital diagnosed definitely functional dyspepsia(FD) were valued over 9 scores according to the hospital anxiety,depression scale(HADS) and divided into two groups called control group and experimental group.The control group used conventional treatment,and the experimental group used conventional treatment combined with Shugan jieyu capsule.Results After 6 weeks' therapy,the totle effective rate in experimental group was 85.0%,while that in control group was 57.5%,the difference was statistically significant(P0.01).Conclusion The study showed the conventional treatment combined with Shugan jieyu capsule had significant effect on patients with functional dyspepsia in anxiety and depression,and further study was deserved.
