Investigation and Application Analysis of Woody Plants Variety on the Campus of Shanghai Institute of Technology

Abstract

Plants can play an important role in the construction of campus environment.To explore the function of woody plants on campus,the assortment,constitute and style of plant were investigated.The results were as follows:(1) There are 73 woody plant species,which belong to 58 genera and 39 families on campus.(2) The overall greening effect is perfect,but the diversity and configuration of plants should be improved.These data drawn from the study provide suggestions for the plant landscape construction on the new campus.
