Abstract
Based on investigation on plant diversity in 56universities and 54high schools(123campuses in all)of Chongqing,this paper systematically analyzes campus plant diversity in Chongqing,puts forward related suggestions for plants’introduction and allocation,and compares species differences in universities and high schools.The results show that 1)campus plant species are rich in Chongqing,including 1069species of vascular plants belonging to 173families,635genera,among which the number of landscape plants is 76.33%and that of indigenous plants is 40.32%;2)both behavioral characteristics of teachers and students and scale of schools lead to campus landscape plants’species difference.Suggestions for plants( especially indigenous plants)introduction and reasonable allocation are necessary.
