Abstract
This paper analyzes the incentive mechanism of knowledge sharing within teams based on game theory. By constructing and analyzing the static models of incentive mechanism, it is found out that: traditional incentive mechanism will make knowledge sharing within teams involved in a Prisoner's Dilemma under the condition of asymmetrical information; direct incentive mechanism cannot effectively promote the knowledge sharing within teams on the grounds of incentive distortion; however, team-based incentive mechanism does a better job on knowledge sharing within teams. By using the team-based incentive model, there is a further discussion on designing special incentive contract and fostering team members' efforts for knowledge sharing.
