Abstract
Refining n-heptane from solvent oil is an efficient and economic method and the refined n-heptane is now widely used in chemical industry.Based on the characteristics of the refining process, the feasibility for small and medium-sized plants to produce n-heptane was identified.Having compared all separating ways, the authors made a proposal to refine n-heptane and reclaim methylcyclohexane from 120 solvent oil by using composite extraction separation.
