Abstract

Objective:In order to compare the femoral vein infusion withscal vein infusion and to decrease the uncomfortableness in the newborn with intracranial hemorrhage. Methods: 80 patients with hemorrhage were randomly divided into two groups and they were punctured in the femoral vein and scalp vein with self-retaining cather respectively. The number of puncture, cipuid exudation and phlebitis were compared between femoral Vein group and scalp vein group. Results:The number of puncture, lipuid exudation and phlebitis were less in the femoral vein group than that in the scalp vein group. Signifcant difference was observed (P0.01 ). Conclusion:Femoral vein infusion with self-retaiming cather could decrease the newborn soreness and hemorrhage phenomena. It would improve the nursing quality.
