Clinic Observation of Naloxone Plus Hyperbaric Oxygenation Combining Treatment in 34 Cases with Acute Fatal Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

Objective To investigate the curative effect of naloxone plus hyperbaric oxygenation combining treatment in patients with acute fatal carbon monoxide poisoning. Methods 62 cases with acute fatal carbon monoxide poisoning were divided randomly into hyperbaric oxygenation alone group and naloxone plus hyperbaric oxygenation group. To compare the curative effects of two groups using GCS grades in different period after carbon monoxide poisoning. Results From 6 hours to 24 hours after treatment, the GCS grades of the patients in naloxone plus hyperbaric oxygenation group were increased more significantly than in hyperbaric oxygenation alone group. Conclusion Naloxone has the effects of facilitating consciousness, lightening and preventing the complication and sequela of the carbon monoxide poisoning.
