Abstract
Since the mid-90's,China's sports manufacturing has taken the advantage of its low labor cost in the wave of international industrial transfer, accepting labor-intensive industries from the developed countries as well as from Asia'sfour little tigers, thus realized this industry's expansion. However,in recent years, with the decline of China's labor cost advantage, its sports manufacturing is faced with the challenge of industrial upgrading and structural adjustment. This paper suggests solutions to the problems in this regard:to achieve product upgrading by adopting technological innovation; to keep the advantage of low labor cost through transferring the industry internationally and domestically;to promote the aggregation of competitive firms in certain areas so as to give full play of the industry's competitiveness.
