On the Theory of Social Type Transformation and Its Realization in China ——A Study and Review of Sociological Theory with Chinese Characteristics

The theory of social type transformation is another theoretic achievement resulting from the study of sociological theories with Chinese characters. The theory makes a basic judge on the social type transformation process of present Chinese society from traditional type to modern type, and becomes the foundation for the formation of new modernization type theory. On the basis of the analysis of characteristics of social type transformation during its speedup time in contemporary China, two basic concepts are proposed: “degree of social type transformation” and “trend of social type transformation”.
