Abstract

The research of social transformation model is divided into two types.Starting from the basic point ofthe type, scholars of the sociological field in western countries pay more attention to the difference of social transformation models, and establish theories such as modernization theory, adherence theory, world system theory, globalization theory and risk theory, etc. The research of these theories can be approximately divided into four phases, namely, phases of classical theory, empirical research, theoretical transformation and theoretical resurgence. On the other hand, native scholars take the research ofthe form as a historic phase and emphatically pay attention to the social transformation of China,Russia and East European countries that were once under the system of planned system.Opposite to the macroscopic research of the theory ofthe type andthe form, comparative research is a practical method whose goal is to find the differences and similarities and accordingly their reasons so as to explore the essence of the difference of these research models.
