Abstract
Objective:To analyse the CT findings of primary intrahepatic peripheral cholangiocarcinoma(PIHPCC),and to improve the understanding of primary intrahepatic peripheral cholangiocarcinoma.Method:CT appearances of primary intrahepatic peripheral cholangiocarcinoma proved by histologically in 42 cases were retrospectively analyzed.Result:The lesions appeared as single low density in all cases on plain CT scan, postcontrast CT scanning showed slightly in homogeneous enhancement in 42 patients,26 patients showed unenhanced low density area with marginal enhancement,4 patients had delayed enhancement.Intrahepatic billary dilatation was found in 23 patients. Conclusion:The CT-features of primary intrahepatic peripheral cholangiocarcinoma are of certain characteristic.
