Abstract
Objective To analyse CT appearances of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, and to improve the understanding of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma. Methods CT appearances of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma proved by histologically in 21 cases were retrospectively analyzed. Results The lesions appeared as single low density in all cases on plain CT scan,post-contrast CT scanning showed slightly inhomogeneous enhancement in 21 patients,4 patients showed unenhanced low density area with marginal enhancement,2 patients had delayed enhancement.Intrahepatic billary dilatation was found in 17 patients. Conclusion CT scan is an important imaging methods in diagnosis of intrahepatic cholangiocarcnoma, the billary dilatations with slightly inhomogeneous enhancement is an important sign in diagnosing intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.
