Abstract
Objective To compare the effect of phacoemulsification and small incision non-phacoemulsification in treatment of cataract. Methods From January 2012 to January 2014, selected cataract patients 90 cases(112 eyes), phacoemulsification surgery in 50 patients(group A), 40 cases of small incision non-phacoemulsification cataract(group B),after one day, one week, after a month the vision of 0.1 to 0.5 and 0.6 to 1.0 in the case of vision were compared, after1d, one week, one month, three months corneal astigmatism, postoperative complications were compared between two groups. Results Vision between 0.1 to 0.5 and 0.6 to 1.0 in two group after surgery for one day one week, and a month, were not statistical astigmatism significance(P 0.05). After corneal astigmatism for 1d, one week, one month, three months were significantly improved compared with that before, but the angle at different time points showed no statistical astigmatism significance between two groups(P0.05). The incidence of postoperative complications in A group and B group was 20% and 15%, showed statistically significant(P0.05). Conclusion Phacoemulsification and small incision non-phacoemulsification cataract treatment have better efficacy, and significantly improve the patient's visual acuity and corneal astigmatism, and the small incision phacoemulsification advantages, its complications, significantly less than phacoemulsification.
