Abstract
Objective To observe the bone mineral density in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. MethodsThe bone mineral density (BMD) in 110 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients and healthy matched control group were measured by dual energy X-ray absorptiometry at the lumbar spines and femoral. Results Significant lower BMD in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients was shewn than that of centrol. Conclusions In this study, we found that BMD in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients in lumbar spines and hip region were lower than the ones in healthy control group. There was significant different.
