Abstract
Objective To investigate the enhancement features of Multi-Slice Sprial CT(MSCT) and its correlation with microvessel density(MVD) and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in rabbit VX2 liver tumor model. Methods 25 rabbit VX2 liver tumor models were divided into control group and experiment group.MSCT perfusion scan and immunnohistochemical techniques were performed on those rabbits at 7,14,21 and 28 d after haven established with VX2 liver tumor successfully. The value of MSCT perfusion parameters: hepatic arterial perfusion(HAP),hepatic portal perfusion(HPP) and hepatic perfusion index(HPI),the expression of VEGF and MVD were determined and analyzed, and the correlations between them were analyzed. Results The value of HAP,HPI,VEGF and MVD in experiment group were much higher than those in control group, while the value of HPP in experiment group was much lower(P0.05).The value of all the index above were all significantly different in different time after the VX2 liver tumor model had established successfully(P0.05).There was significant positive correlation between MVD,VEGF and HAP(P0.05),while no correlation was observed between HPP,HPI and MVD,VEGF(P0.05).Conclusion MSCT perfusion can give a quantitative assessment of blood perfusion of hepatic artery and portal vein.HAP had significant positive correlation with MVD and VEGF,and it can reflect the liver tumor angiogenesis indirectly.
