Yaobao Xuezhiqing Capsules on Reducing Cholesterol in Serum

Abstract
Objective:Experimental studies on hypolipidemic mechanism of Yaobao Xuezhiqing capsules.Methods:Using the method of gavage rats with high-fat emulsion to make rat models of hyperlipidemia.At the same time,gavage rats with water solution lasted 7 days,monitoring TC contents in blood-serum on 0,3rd,5th and 7th day,and detecting TC in excrement,HDL-C and LDL-C in blood-serum after 7days.Results:The content of TC in blood-serum at the lowest level after gavage rats with water solution of Yaobao Xuezhiqing capsules for 7 days.Yaobao Xuezhiqing capsules have a significant activity in owering serum LDL-C but has no effect on HDL-C.Administration can obviously increase total cholesterol egest with excrement.Conclusion:The hypolipidemic mechanism of Yaobao Xuezhiqing capsules is related lowering LDL-C in blood-serum and increasing TC egest with excrement.
