Studying the Seismic Facies and Sedimentary Facies of Shawan Formation 2 in Chunguang Area

Abstract

This paper studies the seismic facies of Shawan Formation 2 in Chunguang area based on the division of the seismic sequence. By means of well-seismic combination and sand body scanning and interpretation,it analyzes the lithology combination of the seismic response,and studies the sedimentary facies characteristics of Shawan Formation 2 combined with sedimentary environment. The sedimentary model is fan delta-underwater fan. Shawan Formation 2 includes 5 sedimentary facies fan delta plain,fan delta front,pro-fan delta,slope fan,and basin floor fan. The slope fan and basin floor fan are well developed and meaningful for reservoir exploration.
