Abstract
Based on the recognition of truncation and onlap,Es2 is divided into two seismic sequences. Then seven types of seismic facies are identified mainly according to external geometrical forms and internal reflection configuration of seismic reflection unit assisted by amplitude and continuity. The spatial distribution of seismic facies by sequence shows the hereditability in the vertical evolution. Finally based on the seismic facies model of continental faulted basin, the seismic facies is converted into sedimentary facies combined with well-log facies and core facies. Results show that six types of sedimentary facies exist in the study area, such as braided river, braided river delta, fan delta, sand bar, turbidite fan and lacustrine facies. And then three depositional models are summarized.
