Abstract
The topology of the electric circuit of a novel single-phase three-level PWM rectifier is proposed.The working state is analyzed in details,and the mathematic model of the rectifier is derived.The hysteresis current control is introduced to achieve unity power factor and low harmonic distortion.The simulation results show that the three-level PWM rectifier features efficient suppression of harmonics fed to the catenary,as well as unity power factor in AC input terminal and bi-directional flowing of energy.Besides,the system has an excellent dynamic performance.
