The Dissemination and Reception of OUYANG Xiu-Ci in Song Dynasty

Abstract

The historical position of OUYANG Xiu's Ci poems was gradually established in the historical course.Ou's Ci poems were widely publicized by means of Geisha and printed matter.Many poets in the Song Dynasty were deeply influenced by his poems,and inherited his tradition in attempt to carry it forward.Ou's Ci poems were regarded as elegant works by critics in the Song Dynasty,however,its tendency of poeticizing has encountered the criticism.
