An Analysis on the Industry Strucure and Urban Economic Growth of Sichuan Province

Abstract

Shift-share-Analysis in Regional Economics is applied in this article to analyze economic development of 12 cities of Sichuan Province. It clarified relative superiority and inferiority in industry structure of every city, and also the influence to economic growth of every city. It would help some in adjustment of industry structure, improvement the efficiency of economic growth and lessening difference in regional economic.
