Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of the endothelin receptor antagonist C2010 on proliferation and apoptosis of ECV304 cell line and to provide some basis for further research on its anticancer effects. Methods Sulforhodamine B(SRB) assay was used to assess the effect of C2010 on proliferation of ECV304 cell line, and the cell apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry. Results The data showed that C2010(20,40μg/ml)could significantly inhibit the proliferation of ECV304 cells in a dose-dependent way after 48h,and the inhibition rate was 12.67%(P0.05)and 43.32%(P0.01),respectively.In addition, the apoptosis rate of ECV304 cells also increased significantly. Conclusion C2010 can effectively inhibit the proliferation and induce the apoptosis of ECV304 cells line in a dose dependent way.
