Abstract

After seed sowing of Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica, the root system is grown 10 cm deep to soil in two month. The drought resistance is improved. The growth of sowing seedlings (1~3 a) and transplant nursery seedlings (4~6 a) shows that the first and second year is slowly, the third year begins growth fast and go into fast growth period. The pink growing period of nursery seedlings needs more nutrition and water in spring and summer but little in autumn. Seedlings need to be watered before soil freezing and covered by soil or other materials so that the survive ratio can be increased remarkably.
