Abstract
Survival rate,preservation rate,growth,production management investment cost of three-year-old container seedlings of Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica with bare root seedlings after planting were analyzed.It proposed that field-planting container seedlings are much optimal than bare-rooted seedlings,planting survival preservation rate are 96.3% 99% respectively.Compared with bare root seedlings,afforestation by container seedlings can save investment by 764 yuan per 667 m2.Container seedlings should be promoted in the sandy,arid barren Yulin sandy area due to its severe wind and sand erosion,poor site conditions.
