Abstract
Objective:To analyze the effect of tuberculosis control work in Longyan city of Fujian during 1995~2000.Methods:A follow-up analysis was done for nearly registered and recurrent smear positive cases with pulmonary tuberculosis during 1995~2000.Results:The rate of new smear positive case-finding increased from 4.9/10 5 in 1995 to 22.6/10 5 in 2000.The curative rate of new smear positive cases with pulmonary tuberculosis increased from 63.4% in 1995 to 95.8% in 2000,and the recurrent smear positive cases with pulmonary tuberculosis increased from 50% in 1997 to 85.6% in 2000.Conclusion:These resulted from pulmonary tuberculosis patients's classified management and having DOTS measure,the tuberculosis control work should continue to be developed.
