Abstract

Vanadium was extracted out of pyrolusite oxidizing stone coal vanadium ore by H2SO4 acid leaching.Manganese dioxide of pyrolusite was used as the oxidant.Effects of oxidant dosage, sulfuric acid mass concentration,liquid-solid ratio, leaching temperature, leaching time on vanadium leaching rate were investigated. The results showed that under the extraction conditions of amount of vanadium:amount of manangese was 1∶ 2,liquid-solid ratio was 1∶ 1,leaching time was 10 h,sulfuric acid mass concentration was 30%,leaching temperature was 90 ℃.The vanadium leaching rate could reach 99.01%,the manganese leaching rate could reach 98.32%.
