From Overseas Chinese Gardens to City Parks——Research of Modern Landscape Architecture in Southern Fujian

With the introduction of western landscape architecture, a lot of beautiful overseas Chinese gardens and city parks were built in Southern Fujian. These new kinds of landscape architecture inherit Chinese classical garden art while using western material technology and form aesthetics as reference. From site selection, garden layout, rockery plants aspects, two new works of landscape architecture in Southern Fujian were taken as example, discussing the fusion of Chinese and Western arts. Some valuable creation thinking and art technique are worth learning nowadays.
