Abstract
Objective: Evaluate the different kinds of treatment for mandibular condylar process fractures. Methods:According to the clinical and radiological findings,34 cases had been treated conservatively and 8 cases surgically,42 cases could be followed for a least 1 year. Results:The effect of treatment were related to the patients age,site of fracture and degree of displacement of condylar process. It showed no difference on effects of treatment between two groups of patients after one year follow up. Condusion:If the objective criterion as the treatment methods of choice the satisfactory results may be obtained.
