Abstract
[Objective] To analyze drug resistance trend of Escherichia coli in our hospital from January 2007-December 2009, to provide the basis for clinical treatment. [Methods] KB method was used in drug sensitivity test. [Results] It had increasing trend year by year of the isolated ESBLs producing strains of Escherichia coli. E. coli was generally sensitive to imipenem, was higher drug resistant to the compound sulfamethoxazole, gentamicin resistance rates. ESBLs producing strains to 17 commonly used antibiotics except imipenem had higher resistance rate than those without ESBLs producing strains. [Conclusion] The timely and effective identification and drug susceptibility testing of bacteria can find the hospital infection of E. coli especially which producing ESBLs as early as possible, and is important to guide anti-infection and rational drug use.
