Abstract
Objectives To set up a QOL questionnaire for CAD patients and the reliability and validity also being tested for the further application Subjective and Methods The questionnaire has four parts and 30 subtests It includes physical status, psychological/mental status, adaptation to social conditions and the knowledge in CAD prevention and treatment The reliability was examined with retest way and evaluated with Pearson correlation coefficients (r) in total and subtest scores The validity was examined with factor analysis to test the construct and content validity At the same time, the SF 36 questionnaire used widely was also examined with the factor analysis and the further evaluation was finished with the comparison between them. Results All the Pearson correlation coefficients were in 0 7~0 9, which were at/over the standard 0 7, so the questionnaire had a high reliability The validity analysis results showed the items from the three common factors had the logical relations to what imaged before There was a high coherence degree between the construction and the results. Conclusions The reliability and validity of the questionnaire reaches the standard So the questionnaire could be applied.
