Abstract

A series of reforms were taken at the end of the Qing Dynasty.In the political reforms,the principle of separating the three powers was founded;in the economic reform,the development of capitalism industry and commerce was encouraged;in the educational reform,the ancient test system of China was abolished and new pattern schools were set up.These performances contributed to the transformation of China from traditional society to modern society.Their capitalism characters were evident.These reforms made China the primitive pattern of modern times.
