Analysis of the Selection of Leading Industry in Yichun City,Heilongjiang Province

During the course of transferring to a different track,it is the key issue related to competitive ability and sustainable development of city that establishment of proper leading industry and the restructuring of industrial for a resource-based city.Yichun City,a pilot of transformation of resource-based city in China's north eastern Heilongjiang Province,should establish the regional leading industry in the process of industrial restructuring.It can prepare the ground for local economic development rapidly that fostering and supporting leading industry.According to economic development and industry situation,the paper demonstrates how to select and establish leading industry in Yichun City.It is concluded that wood intensive processing should be supported as the leading industry,and tourism industry should be fostered as the leading industry in the future.
