Abstract
In this paper, the acrylic acid grafting polyurethane copolymer(AA-g-PU) is prepared by using polyether-polyurethane and acrylic acid as materials. The structure of AA-g-PU copolymer is characterized by FTIR.The effects of monomer concentration, initiator concentration, auxiliaries concentration and the reaction temperature on grafting ratio are studied and the optimal synthetic condition is determined. The thermal properties of copolymer are analyzed by DSC and the bonding properties are tested. The results show that the crystal ability reduces and the thermal stability increases. The bonding property is strengthened after polyurethane is grafted with acrylic acid.
