Abstract

Objective To discuss the clinical characteristics of hemorrhagic transformation after cerebral infarction. Methods Retrospective analysis the data of 24 cases of hemorrhagic transformation after cerebral infarction. Results Middle cerebral artery lesions in 16 cases(67%),anterior cerebral artery lesion in 6 cases(25%),posterior cerebral artery lesions in 2 patients(8%).22 cases of large area cerebral infarction, accounted for 92%;HT48h 11 cases,48h to 7d in 7 cases,7 to 14d in 3 cases,14d in 3 cases. There are 10 cases were nearly cured,5 cases were improved,3 cases were in persistent vegetative state and 6 cases were dead in the 24 cases. Conclusion Hemorrhagic transformation after cerebral infarction is affecting the survival of patients with severe complications, their risk factors have a large area cerebral infarction, atrial fibrillation, major causes of early death in patients with cerebral hernia, timely diagnosis and treatment may improve the prognosis.
