Enlightenment from the development of the American General Aviation to China's General Aviation airport planning

Abstract

This paper summarizes the current development of American General Aviation and its airport planning and design,and compares the current situation and future development of China's General Aviation to its American counterpart.The analysis points to the problems existing in layout planning,facilities construction and government promotion of China's General Aviation.To solve these problems,this paper then proposes a feasible scheme to direct the development of China's General Aviation and its airport planning.
