Abstract
Neurotoma sibirica Gussakovskij has one generation a year in Haicheng,Liaoning Province. It overwinters as prepupa in the soil and begins to pupate in the first ten days of April the next year. The adult emerges between the last ten days of April and the beginning of June. The eggs occurs between the last ten days of April and the first ten days of June. The larva hatches in mid May.In mid June the mature larva comes down trees and goes into soil.Thirteen species of natural enemies are found.Among them Notopygus insignis Kriechbaumer is a new record in China and Harmonia axyridis(Pallas) is the dominant species.Three pesticides were used against the 3rd instar larvae and the mortality was above 93%.
