The exploration of the implantation of intraocular lenses surgery in traumatic cataract.

Objective To explore the election of primary or secondary intraocular lenses implantation in traumatic cataract.Methods 93 patients with traumatic cataract were operated with modern extra capsular cataract extraction and phacoemulsification,primary and secondary implantation were 56 cases and 37 cases respectively.The visual acuity,intraocular pressure,position of intraocular lenses and complication were observed during 3～30 months after operation.Analyzed the two types of operation.Results Corrected visual acuity ≥0.5 was in 23 cases (41.07%) in primary group and in 19 cases (51.35%) in secondary group.Corrected visual acuity ≥1.0 was in 7 cases (12.5%) and in 5cases (13.5%) respectively.Conclusions Two methods of the implantation were important in treat traumatic cataract for improving binocular single vision,but primary implantation fitted the cases with better eye condition and secondary implantation fitted the children and cases with worse eye condition.
